GST Registration

    About GST Registration

Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a comprehensive, multi-stage, destination-based tax applied on every value addition in India. It streamlines the indirect tax system by replacing multiple existing taxes with a single, unified tax framework.

GST provides a continuous chain of input tax credits from the manufacturer or service provider to the retailer or end consumer, ensuring that only the value added at each stage of the supply chain is taxed, enhancing transparency and efficiency.

India follows a dual GST model due to its federal structure, where both the Centre and State governments simultaneously levy GST on the taxable supply of goods, services, or both within a State or Union Territory. This means tax is imposed concurrently by the Centre and the respective State. GST is applicable across the entire country, including the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
